Rising Stars – Classical Jam 2026

The Rising Stars – Classical Jam 2026 offers up to four pre-professional string players (violin, viola, cello, double bass) of conservatoire level standard the opportunity to collaborate with the acclaimed Kleio Quartet and previous Rising Stars cohorts. Participants will engage in rehearsals and a public performance at The Hub, Edinburgh's Festival venue. The program emphasizes mentorship, industry connections, and a unique concert experience that combines pre-agreed repertoire with spontaneous audience-selected pieces, inspired by the spirit of jazz. This initiative is part of the Edinburgh International Festival's Emerging Talent programme, aiming to provide early career musicians with professional development opportunities and a platform to showcase their talents.
