Visiting Artist Programme (VAP) 2025/2026

The Visiting Artist Programme (VAP) 2025/2026, initiated within the Big Pulse Dance Alliance network, is a European project funded by the Creative Europe programme. It offers emerging choreographers and dancers the opportunity to immerse themselves in the vibrant atmospheres of major European dance festivals. Over the next twenty-four months, more than 150 artists will have the chance to visit festivals in 22 European countries. Selected Italian artists, with a particular focus on the Torino and Piemonte regions, will participate in the Dance Week Festival in Croatia (May 13–18, 2025) and Bratislava in Movement (October 2025, dates to be defined). In the following year, they will attend One Dance in Plovdiv, Bulgaria (May 2026) and December Dance in Bruges, Belgium (December 2026). The programme aims to provide a diverse perspective on contemporary choreographic practices through festival visits, performances, meetings with artistic directors and local operators, talks, masterclasses, and exposure to significant spaces and institutions in the dance and performing arts sector.
