Performer / Practitioner

Make/Sense Theatre is seeking dedicated performers with an interest in accessible and sensory practice to join their team from January to July 2026. The role involves delivering multi-sensory theatre experiences and inclusive arts education in SEND schools and community settings. Performers should have a strong foundation in clowning, physical theatre, or devised performance, and be confident singers capable of engaging audiences through voice and presence. Ideally, candidates will play the ukulele or guitar and be based in Berkshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey, or Hampshire.

Requirements: Ability to commit to the full 27-week, 37.5 hours per week contract; confident, versatile singing ability; willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check. Desirable: access to own car; actor/musician skills; facilitation experience; clowning, puppetry, or physical theatre experience; previous work with SEND or complex-needs audiences; small-scale touring experience.
