Coach-in-Training Course

The Coach-in-Training Course at Circus Arts Australia is designed for individuals aged 14 and above who are interested in pursuing a coaching role within the circus arts. This comprehensive program covers essential topics such as safety protocols, group management, teaching fundamental skills across disciplines like Gymnastics, Aerials, Acro, Trampoline, and Ninja, as well as leading warm-ups and cool-downs. Participants will also learn to supervise games, understand age-appropriate activities, and create routines and skill sequences. The course includes a one-day training session, a workbook, a Circus Arts T-shirt for shadow coaching, and over 10 hours of shadow coaching with certified coaches, providing hands-on experience in a supervisory role. Successful completion of this course opens the pathway to further coach training courses and potential employment as a qualified coach at Circus Arts Australia.
