Call for Dance Films – ScreenDance RoadShow 2025–2026

ScreenDance RoadShow invites filmmakers to submit short dance films (maximum 15 minutes) where dance and cinematography are equally integral. The program seeks to explore diverse interpretations of 'dance' and 'choreography,' including works that incorporate technologies like animation, computer graphics, and puppetry. Note that compilations and documentation of live performances are not eligible. The 2025–2026 season venues will be announced soon, with past venues including the Columbus Theatre in Providence, RI, and the Zeiterion Performing Arts Center in New Bedford, MA. Screenings are followed by Q&A sessions with the curators, encouraging local artists to engage in the conversation.
