The programme offers a comprehensive experience, including creation, rehearsal, and touring in the UK and Europe, with a focus on developing young dance artists who are engaged, curious, and embrace self-reflection.
Cost: Dancers receive an apprentice salary at London Living Wage, with contributions towards relocation and touring expenses (accommodation, travel, and per diems).
Scholarships: The programme includes a Continued Professional Development (CPD) offer funded by the Jerwood Foundation, covering health and wellbeing, workshop leadership training, self-directed research and development, a week of creation with a guest choreographer, self-promotion, and an expanded dance science strand delivered with The Place.
Requirements: Applicants must be aged between 18 and 25 and demonstrate a strong commitment to contemporary dance. The selection process includes video submissions, Zoom auditions, and in-person auditions in London.
